- NEED IN SITU PHOTOS. So far Botrychium furculatum has been collected from only one location in the Watershed, two miles west of Stunner campground (Conejos Co, 1990, 1991). POWO shows a USA distribution for the species that runs down from Canada through the Central Rockies. Allred et al. (2020) show only one county in New Mexico, Taos, bordering Colorado, with no other locations in the Rio Grande drainage. This species of Botrychium is only recently described, and older specimens of it were probably named "Botrychium pallidum"—a species, however, that has not yet been found in the Watershed.
