- NEED IN SITU PHOTOS. Echo moonwort has been recorded from three locations in the Watershed: Wolf Creek pass (Mineral Co, 1995); Alberta Park reservoir (Mineral Co, 2015); and Vermejo Park Ranch (Costilla Co, 2008-2009). The habitat tends to be rather open gravel ground, sometimes disturbed. The USA distribution is concentrated in the central Rockies of Colorado, with additional locations in southeast Utah, northern Arizona, and northern New Mexico. Botrychium echo follows the Rio Grande drainage only into Rio Arriba and Taos counties of New Mexico.
