- The only authorities for the presence of little lovegrass in the Watershed are Shaw 2008 and BONAP 2025 (which usually follows Shaw), who cite Saguache and Alamosa counties. Eragrostis minor is an exotic now naturalized throughout the USA, occupying ruderal spaces such as roadsides and graveled railroad embankments. It has been reported from every USA state except for New Mexico and Arizona. The only Rio Grande drainage occurrences may lie in Alamosa and Saguache counties of the Watershed and in the southern tip of Texas near the Gulf of Mexico. Note that taxonomists have labored over this much traveled species, and POWO lists over forty synonyms.
