NEED IN SITU PHOTOS. Mediterranean lovegrass has one voucher from the Watershed, collected by H. D. Harrington in 1956 along a road one mile and a half east of Antonito (Conejos Co). Shaw (2008) also shows Alamosa county. The introduced Aragrostis barrelieri often naturalized, occupying flower beds, road sides, trainyard, and other disturbed ground. Its USA distribution is primarily the desert Southwest, New Mexico, and most of Texas. It follows the Rio Grande drainage through the southern two-thirds of New Mexico and solidly through Texas to the Gulf of Mexico.
