- NEED IN SITU PHOTOS. According to Shaw (2008) crowfoot grass has a presence in three counties of the Watershed. But there are no SEINet vouchers, and no other authority finds Eleusine indica there except for BONAP (which usually accepts Shaw's distributions). This exotic nuisance species is ruderal, found in yards, cultivated fields, and other moist disturbed ground. It has been documented from every USA state except for Washington, Idaho, and Wyoming. Observations of E. indica follow the Rio Grande drainage down to the Gulf of Mexico, but in a very scattered way.
