Comments
Tatar maple is rarely planted in the Watershed but it seems to do well in the Basin. There are only two documented records, both in iNaturalist: the towns of Alamosa (2023) and Conejos (2024). As Salix babylonica, Acer tataricum lacks any observation of it spreading on its own. BONAP shows it escaping in a few USA states: Idaho, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island.
