- There is only one voucher for Cryptantha kelseyana from the Watershed: about 1 mile ENE of the spillway on Terrace Reservoir, a ridge leading to Chiquito Peak (Conejos Co, collected by Ronald L. Hartman). Ackerfield (2015) omits this observation; Ackerfield (2022) includes it. This location, and one from Walsenberg (Rydberg, coll, 1900), would mark the extreme southeast corner of the USA distribution, which covers the drier and lower-elevation parts of Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, north and southwest Colorado, Utah, and northeast Arizona. The Conejos Co location would be the only one in the entire Rio Grande Watershed.
