- NEED IN SITU PHOTOS. There is only one voucher for Antennaria howellii, from "the head of Lujan Creek," which would lie along the Continental Divide north of North Pass (Saguache Co, 1959). This plant would be Antennaria howellii subsp. neodioica. FNA does not indicate a US distribution for the subspecies. For Antennaria howellii, BONAP shows a distribution covering the the top third of the US, with an extension running down the Front Range of Colorado, but no farther south. Ackerfield (2022) does not include A. howellii as a Colorado species.
