- For Thymophylla aurea in the Watershed there are three vouchers (all under the name Dyssodia aurea): Caroll's Woods 1 mile northwest of Alamosa (Alamosa Co, 1988), Old Woman Creek 19 miles NW of Del Norte (Rio Grande Co, 1997), and Dry Creek SWA 12 miles SW of Monte Vista (Rio Grande Co, 1997). Neither Ackerfield (2022) or BONAP (2022) accept these records. These would show isolated occurrences, since the USA distribution is southeastern Colorado, northwestern New Mexico, southern New Mexico, and southwestern Texas. In the last two areas, locations do fall within the Rio Grande drainage, but some 400 miles south of the Watershed voucher locations.
