- NEED IN SITU PHOTOS. Tall baby's breath has been recorded once in the Watershed, found in a boggy area on the east side of the Alamosa Wildlife Refuge (Alamosa Co, 1974). There is no evidence that the plant persisted long. Currently (spring 2024) there are 17 or so observations from the state of Colorado in iNaturalist. Gypsophila paniculata, widely used by flower shops, has been reported escaped from states across the northern half of the USA. The 1974 Alamosa Co occurrence would be the unique one for the entire Rio Grande drainage.
