Comments
Potentilla hippiana is known to hybridize with other species, and in the Watershed this hybrid is perhaps the most common taxon. It has the pinnate leaves of P. hippiana and the smaller plant height and silky (not tomentose) leaflet under side of P. pulcherrima. The distribution in the Watershed is not recorded by SEINet, Ackerfield, or BONAP. Re-evaluation of herbarium vouchers is needed.
