- Small-leaf globemallow has only two records from the Watershed, a photorecord from just east of South Fork by Hwy 160 (Rio Grande Co, 26 June 2019); and another photorecord from close by, perhaps of the same plants (21 June 2019, iNaturalist observation 299085518). Sphaeralcea parvifolia is found in the San Juan drainage to the west of the Watershe, and in New Mexico counties bordering on Colorado to the south, so it is reasonable to expect that the flower occurs in the Colorado Watershed. Its USA range is Nevada, Utah, Arizona, NW New Mexico, and west-slope Colorado. BONAP shows the species present in the Rio Grande drainage of New Mexico down to Socorro Co, but no farther down stream.
