- The 2015 Shaw Lake, Mineral Co photorecord would be the only recorded occurrence of subalpine curlyweed in the Watershed. The identification needs to be supported with other specimens and analysis of cypselae. In Colorado the collections mainly come from the Front Range, where Ackerfield says it is "common." In 1930, however, it was collected from Sheep Cabin Creek (Archuleta Co), not many miles west of the Continental Divide and the Watershed. BONAP shows two records from northern New Mexico, with no SEINet vouchers and not indicated in Allred, Jercinovic, and Ivey (2020). Otherwise, the USA distribution is confined to Colorado and Wyoming.
