- So far this common exotic of disturbed ground in many parts of Colorado has, it seems, only a minimal presence in the Watershed. Ackerfield (2015) shows Linaria dalmatica from Alamosa Co, but as yet there are no Watershed vouchers in SEINet. The photorecord of 2019 is from Conejos Co, and it would add that county to counties indicated in Ackerfield (2022) and BONAP (2022). Note that SEINet does show one voucher location in Archuleta Co alongside Hwy 160, just west of the photorecord location. Recently, iNaturalist observation #227549460 added a location just south of Forbes Park in Costilla Co (July 2024). L. dalmatica is on Colorado's B list of "noxious weeds." The species is wide spread in all Western states, with scattered occurrences in the north Great Plains and farther east. It is scattered down the Rio Grande drainage to Otero Co, New Mexico, but no farther.
