- NEED IN SITU PHOTOS. SEINet has only two Watershed vouchers of Erigeron strigosus, one roadside north of Antonito in Conejos Co (1982); the second in an old burn by La Garita Creek W of La Garita (1984). This second is listed as Erigeron strigosus var. strigosus by the New York Botanical Garden Steere Herbarium, although the label produced by the collector, B. H. M. Mooers, identifies lthe specimen as Erigeron subtrinervis. Neither Ackerfield (2022) or BONAP (2022) accept these records as E. strigosus. In the USA the species is common in the Great Plains eastward, uncommon and adventive in any part of Colorado. There are a few collections from Taos and Mora counties in New Mexico, but none farther down the Rio Grande drainage (unless you count La Salle Co of Texas, shown in BONAP).
