- Comments
- Sharpleaf valerian is common around the Valley, growing in all mountain regions, most often collected from the subalpine near creeks and ponds, in or near woods. In the USA Valeriana acutiloba occurs in the mountains west of the Great Plains, although not in the Pacific coastal range. It is present in the Rio Grande drainage of New Mexico, down to Otero Co, but not farther down stream.
