NEED IN SITU PHOTOS. For least bur-weed there are four Watershed locations, all in the montane lakes of west Conejos Co. Ackerfield calls it "uncommon in shallow water of high mountain ponds and fens." The USA distribution is disjunct, with scattered occurrences in the Western states and in the Great Lakes and New England, the Great Plains separating them. The Watershed locations, plus a few from San Juan Co in New Mexico, mark the southeast corner of the Western range.
