- NEED IN SITU PHOTOS. Green-leaf five-eyes has been recorded only once from the Watershed: 1 mi north of Creede along East Willow Creek, found along the roadside (1995, Heil). This is primarily a New Mexico and Utah plant, with a scattering of records in Colorado to the west and east of the Watershed, most also found alongside roads. The USA distribution also follows the Rio Grande drainage through New Mexico on down through Texas to the Gulf of Mexico. Note that Ackerfield (2022) and iNaturalist treat this taxon as Chamaesaracha coronopus.
