- NEED IN SITU PHOTOS Gray five-eyes has only one record from the Watershed: Cochetopa Hills, McIntyre Ridge, 4-4.5 air mi ENE of Saguache (1999). In Colorado, this is a Plains species, the closest collections being Walsenberg and Canon City, placing the Watershed occurrence on the extreme northwest of the USA distribution. In the Rio Grande drainage, that distribution otherwise begins in Torrence Co, New Mexico, and continues down to the Gulf of Mexico. Note that BONAP treats Chamaesaracha coniodes under C. texensis
