- Comments
- In the Watershed, lanceleaf figwort has been found in very few locations but from a wide variety of habitats: the Great Sand Dunes; Trinchera Ranch east of La Veta Pass; “Dry Creek” in Rio Grande Co; a rim of the Conejos River canyon (La Botica); and near Red Lake in Conejos Co. Scrophularia lanceolata is Colorado's only figwort (there are 18 species in the USA, and around 200 world wide). Our species is distributed through much of the USA, but continues on down the Rio Grande drainage only into the New Mexico counties bordering Colorado.
