- NEED IN SITU PHOTOS. Vouchers of Pedicularis scopulorum have been fairly frequently collected from mesic slopes and saddles of the Watershed tundra, but only from the west side. However, Ackerfield (2020) and BONAP show Costilla Co, with no vouchers in SEINet. There are three occurrences at high elevation in the Cristos of New Mexico (otherwise the species would be endemic to the central mountains of Colorado). Note that Pedicularis scopulorum is often treated as a subspecies of P. sudetica; e.g., FNA, Allred et al. (2020), Ackerfield (2015 but not 2020).
