Comments

This is a well-known hybrid distinguished by its bi-colored bracts. Al Schneider deems it a species in its own right, which he names Castillejo versicolor. The Rio Grande photorecord is accepted by Al Schneider as C. versicolor. Otherwise the Watershed distribution is not yet known.
