Comments

Castilleja integra is often collected, from all mountain regions of the Valley, at mid elevations. This paintbrush prefers dry rocky slopes, often in association with sagebrush and juniper. It is a Southern Rockies and desert Southwest plant, but confined to Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, and the Rio Grande drainage of Texas, to Big Bend country and even a little beyond.
