- Comments
- Castilleja integra is often collected, from all mountain regions of the Valley, at mid elevations. This paintbrush prefers dry rocky slopes, often in association with sagebrush and juniper. It is a Southern Rockies and desert Southwest plant, but confined to Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, and the Rio Grande drainage of Texas, to Big Bend country and even a little beyond.
