- Brook saxifrage has been frequently collected from both eastern and western mountain regions of the Valley, from creek sides, rock seeps, tundra waterfalls, etc. This photogenic flower has been found in the Rio Grande drainage through the top third of New Mexico, and is recorded from all the USA mountains west of the Great Plains.
