- In the Watershed, Boulder raspberry is a a lower montane plant so far found in the Watershed only in the north Cristos. It seems to prefer forested slopes, by aspen, pinyon, juniper, fir, etc. In the USA its distribution is extreme southeast Wyoming, central Colorado, and scattered counties of New Mexico. In that state, the farthest down the Rio Grande drainage is Doña Ana Co. There are no records farther down stream.
