- NEED IN SITU PHOTOS. Sheep cinquefoil has two Watershed records, in Mineral Co “along the Continental Divide, between Palomino Mountain, Monument Lake and Window Lake” (Matt Heil and David Heil, 1997); and in Custer/Saguache counties, on Music pass in the North Cristos. Along with one New Mexico observation from Cave Spring (Jicarilla Ranger district, Rio Arriba Co, 1995), these three Rio Grande locations lie at the extreme southeastern edge of the plant’s USA distribution, and would be the only ones in the entire Rio Grande drainage.
