- Comments
- Norwegian cinquefoil is a lower elevation plant in the Watershed, fond of wet habitats such as in and by pools, ponds, streams, lakes—but also wet meadows. It likes disturbed ground such as drainage ditches and road sides. It is native to the USA (as well as Eurasia), found in all states except most of Texas and the deep South. It follows the Rio Grande drainage through New Mexico to Mexico. BONAP shows it occurring rarely in Val Verde Co of Texas, which then might mark the farthest location down stream.
