- Of alpine cinquefoil there are less than a dozen locations in the Watershed, most in the San Juans: in the Wheeler National Monument area and farther south on alpine slopes and saddles. Apparently there are two records from the Cristos: in Alamosa Co (west canyon of Mt. Blanca), and in Costilla Co (apparently shown by Ackerfield 2022, with no vouchers in SEINet). There is one record from the Cristos of New Mexico (Vermejo Ranch at the Colorado border). The USA distribution is scattered through all the states west of the Great Plains except for California. These Watershed locations, with a very few in Taos Co of New Mexico, mark the southern limit of the Rio Grande drainage.
