- Comments
- Ninebark has not been often collected from the Watershed (so far around 10 times), but it is present on dry foothill slopes and in rocky outcrops on both sides of the Valley, usually bordering streams. It is not yet recorded from the Culebras, but often in the Cristos of New Mexico, following the Rio Grande drainage down to the Mexican border and on into the far west tip of Texas (Culberson Co). Physocarpus monogynus is a species of the Central and Southern Rockies, with scattered locations in Nevada, Utah, Arizona, and North and South Dakota.
