- NEED IN SITU PHOTOS. Drymocallis fissa has four recorded locations in the north Cristos (1998-2008), in forest openings or by forested streams: Hot Springs Canyon; N of Medano pass; Hayden pass creek; and Upper Sand Creek. These fit the USA distribution, which is the Rocky Mountains down to the Rio Grande drainage in the northern Cristos of New Mexico, where it is "scarcely known" (Allred et al. 2020). So the flower may be expected in the Culebras of the Watershed. For the extraction of Drymocallis from Potentilla, see Ertter, 2007.
