- Comments
- There are very few vouchers for the Watershed’s only hawthorn, all in Saguache Co, but from both sides of the Watershed: Villa Grove, in a "dry wash" and "intermittent stream," 1934 and 1935; Hayden Pass Road, 1984; Medano Creek, 1984. The photorecord from Mosca Creek (2014) adds Alamosa to Watershed counties shown in Ackerfield. The species is common on the west slope of Colorado, and the Watershed records from the north Cristos lie at the eastern edge of the USA distribution. It is present in Rio Arroyo and Sierra counties, New Mexico, but no farther down the Rio Grande drainage.
