- NEED IN SITU PHOTOS. There are two voucher records of Chamaerhodos erecta from the Watershed: Mineral Co, 5 miles SW of Creede, in a meadow by the Rio Grande (1939), and Saguache Co, “1 mile below Stone Cellar”, on Saguache Creek (1993). The first is from volcanic substrate, and the second just east of the Continental Divide from Cochetopa Dome (where there are many records, the lasted dated 19 Aug 2023, observed by Loraine Yeatts). These locations mark the extreme southern end of the USA distribution, which extends on up the Rockies to Canada and across the northern Great Plains.
