- Comments
- Potamogton foliosus has been found with regularity in artesian-spring habitats in the Upper Basin, with one high elevation recorded from the Culebras. This pondweed is common in Colorado, with similar range in elevation. It is the most wide-spread pondweed in the USA, observed in every state. There are scattered locations down the Rio Grande drainage all the way to the Gulf of Mexico.
