- NEED IN SITU PHOTOS. Bushy knotweed has been recorded twice from the Watershed, once in the town of Monte Vista (1936? the date has been inferred from other records of the collector), and once on Elwood Pass road, “on vertical cliffs N of road” (2002)—probably FS 380. The species is often found in disturbed ground, sometimes saline. Records of it follow the Rio Grande drainage of New Mexico from Rio Arriba and Taos counties down to Doña Ana Co, and there may be locations in the drainage near the Big Bend country of Texas. The species has scattered locations in all USA states except for Georgia and Florida.
