- Comments
- Spotted lady's-thumb, an exotic, is wide spread in the USA and might be expected more widely in the Watershed. But so far there are only four locations: by the edge of the Rio Grande near Alamosa (Alamosa Co); by Home Lake just east of Monte Vista (Rio Grande Co); by La Garita Creek (Saguache Co); by a water-retension pond southwest of Del Norte (Rio Grande Co); and in the Monte Vista Wildlife Refuge (iNaturalist observation #171478074, 29 June 2023). BONAP also shows Conejos Co, with no vouchers in SEINet. The species has been recorded throughout the length of the Rio Grande drainage, all the way to the Gulf of Mexico.
