- For Eriogonum lachnogynum the Watershed has two locations: a volcanic ridge east of CR 38A, on the south side of Twelvemile Road, that is, on the border between Saguache and Rio Grande counties (first collected and identified by five collectors in 1985); and a sandstone hill near Joroso in Costila Co (1990). The Watershed plants seem to be E. lachnogynum var. lachnogynum. BONAP also shows Alamosa Co, with no vouchers in SEINet. The Watershed occurrences mark the NW edge of the USA distribution, which is restricted to eastern Arizona, New Mexico, southern Colorado, and the panhandles of Oklahoma and Texas. It has been collected from the north Rio Grande drainage of New Mexico, but not farther south.
