- Of Brandegee's jacob's-ladder there are fewer than 10 records from the Watershed, but from both sides of the Valley. It is most often found growing in steep rock crevices, sometimes "inaccessible" to the botanist (Sharples 2017). There are no records from the Culebras, but three from the Cristos in New Mexico. This is a Southern Rockies plant distributed from Montana to New Mexico, and not common anywhere. It follows the Rio Grande drainage only to Bernalillo Co, New Mexico.
