For this exotic plantain, the Watershed has only two records of Plantago lanceolata: a voucher from Conejos Co, 2.5 miles W of La Jara (2014), at the edge of a pond; and a photorecord from Rio Grande Co (2013), a vacant lot in South Fork. It has been more frequently collected from Archuleta Co, west of the Watershed. Ribwort plantain has made its way into nearly every state of the USA. It follows the Rio Grande drainage through New Mexico and can also be found in the Big Bend country of Texas.
