NEED IN SITU PHOTOS. For Penstemon eatonii there is one Watershed record, from Mineral Co. north of Creede, on a mountain side (collected in 1968 and identification confirmed in 2018). In the USA this is a predominently Southwest Penstemon, with a few collections from the Four Corners region of Colorado. In New Mexico there are records from Rio Arriba Co (Allred et al. 2020) and Santa Fe Co (BONAP), so there is evidence the plant occurs in the upper Rio Grande drainage (but not farther down stream).
