- So far Callitriche hermaphroditica has recorded only four Watershed locations: the Rio Grande floodplain near the town of Alamosa (Alamosa Co), an irrigation ditch near Center (Rio Grande Co), a pond in a gravel pit (Rio Grande Co), and Humphrey’s ranch south of Wagon Wheel Gap (Mineral Co). It is probably more wide spread in the Valley than this scant record suggests. BONAP shows scattered records in all Western states of the USA, and across the northern Plain to the Great Lakes. It follows the Rio Grande drainage only two counties into New Mexico,
