- Comments
- In the Watershed, Goodyera oblongifolia has been collected only from the southern San Juans, in wet understory. Recently it has been photorecorded from the mountains south of South Fork and southwest of Del Norte (iNaturalist, three observations, 2019-2023). However, the plant has been frequently collected in the New Mexico Cristos, from the border with Colorado down to Santa Fe. Hogan and Elliot (2022) found it "not uncommon" in subalpine forest understory of the east slopes of the North Cristos. The species has a disjunct USA distribution, one population found in all states west of the Great Plain, and another around the Great Lakes.
