- NEED IN SITU PHOTOS. For narrowleaf willowherb, there is only one Watershed record: Baca National Wildlife Refuge, Antelope Springs (2013). This location lies at the southern edge of the USA range, which is represented by scattered records primarily across the top half of the nation. There are no clear records from the Rio Grande drainage farther south, in New Mexico and Texas. Accurate determination may present a problem with this Epilobium, which requires notice of its thread-like stolons.
