- NEED IN SITU PHOTOGRAPHS. In the Watershed there are only two locations, all in Conejos Co: near Osier Mt. (1985) and by Trail Lake about 25 miles NNW of Mogote (2003). In Colorado, the main range is the Four Corners, just across the Continental Divide from the Conejos Co locations. BONAP shows a scattered distribution: high elevations in all USA states west of the Great Plains except for Wyoming. Note that some authors treat this plant as a variety of Lewisia pygmaea, for instance Allred et al. (2020). The farthest down the Rio Grande drainage for this species (however treated) seems to be Santa Fe Co, New Mexico.
