NEED IN SITU PHOTOS. For Mentzelia reverchonii there are just two Watershed records, 1998 and 1999, from the same vicinity, the hills NW of Saguache. The species has a SE Colorado distribution, largely in the Arkansas River drainage. Apparently these two identifications are not accepted by Ackerfield, but are by BONAP. Capsules are needed for determination. It follows the Rio Grande drainage from the Big Ben country of Texas to the Gulf, although not recorded from that drainage in New Mexico.
