NEED IN SITU PHOTOS. For Lilium philadelpicum there is one verbal record, a plant found in the north Cristos: Saguache Co, Cotton Creek Trail, 3.5 miles from trailhead (30 June 2010, Tim Hogan collector). The plant was left undisturbed as rare (see T. Hogan, 2011). Around the Watershed more occurrences may be expected, by mid-elevation lakes, perhaps difficult of access. BONAP (2022) shows the Rio Grande drainage counties of Rio Arriba, Santa Fe, and Otero in New Mexico, and Culberson in Texas. There are uncommon and scattered records from the Rockies of Colorado, Wyoming, and Montana. The main population ranges across the northern third of the USA.
