- Comments
- Gunnison's mariposa lily is a common flower of open montane slopes, dry to slightly mesic. It has been collected from all mountain regions of the Watershed except for the Culebras (but commonly recorded from the Cristos of New Mexico). Calochortus gunnisonii is found throughout the Rockies of the USA. It follows the Rio Grande drainage to the Mexican border.
