NEED IN SITU PHOTOS. For this false-pennyroyal the Watershed shows only three locations, all from the Lower Basin near the New Mexico border, growing in rocky volcanic hills. The paucity of collections is odd, for a plant so common and wide spread throughout the mid-western and Plains states. Hedeoma drummondii follows the Rio Grande drainage through New Mexico and on east to the Gulf of Mexico.
