- Comments
- Trumpet gooseberry is a mid-elevation currant, common in the foothills but also ranging up into the subalpine. Ribes leptanthum is yet to be collected from the Culebras, although it is recorded from the north Cristos of New Mexico, whose distribution follows the Rio Grande drainage to the border with Mexico (with one record from Jeff Davis Co in Texas). It is a USA Southwest plant of Utah, Arizona, Colorado, and New Mexico.
