- Richardson's geranium is perhaps the single most recorded wildflower from the Watershed. Found in all mountain regions of the Valley, the species especially likes shaded openings in woods but can be found in nearly every habitat, including roadside embankments. It grows in all states west of the Great Plains. It follows the Rio Grande drainage through New Mexico almost to the Mexican border, but no farther.
