- Throughout the Watershed, this common subspecies of Corydalis aurea is found in a range of habitats, including both disturbed and natural areas: alleys, riparian slopes, washes, rocky foothill slopes, etc. It is recorded from all counties of New Mexico but, unlike the other common subspecies of C. aurea, subsp. aurea, it has not been recorded from Texas.
